A prominent educational institution in Bedford is seeking a senior project leader to establish a Group-wide Project Management Office (PMO). We are seeking an experienced senior project leader to establish and lead a new Group-wide Project Management Office (PMO).
This role will set the standards for how projects are governed and delivered across the Group, providing oversight and leadership of complex, high-impact initiatives including digital, operational and organisational transformation. You will design and embed project management frameworks, governance and reporting, while directly leading major programmes to ensure delivery on time, within scope and aligned to strategic priorities.
This is a high-profile role requiring strong leadership, excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
The Bedford College Group was formed in 2017 following the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College and is now the largest provider of education in the South East Midlands, with over 15,000 students passing through our doors each year.

This role is 37 hours per week, with 35 days annual leave, plus Local Government Pension Scheme.
