Overview

Sheridan Maine are pleased to be working on an exclusive basis with a growing West Berkshire based global organisation to recruit a Group Financial Controller into their head office team.

This exciting newly created opportunity will be supporting the CFO with a breadth of duties as well as managing staff within the accounts department. This senior finance role will provide exposure across the wider business, working closely with international teams and the US group. The company require a technically strong qualified accountant who ideally has experience working in a larger worldwide company setting.

Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for the group consolidations
  • Overseeing the month end close cycle and reporting for multiple entities
  • Running the company external audit process
  • Review and reconcile balance sheets
  • Group statutory reporting
  • Cash forecasting
  • Line management of transactional and part qualified staff
Qualifications and experience
  • Fully qualified accountant ( CIMA / ACCA / ACA )
  • Strong technical accounting skills, ideally gained within a group accounting functions
  • International company experience
  • US GAAP / SAP knowledge desirable but not essential
  • Prior experience of managing teams
  • Consolidations experience is preferred
  • Experience of meeting tight reporting deadlines
