A superb Group Finance Manager position has arisen in a leading, newly acquired (Private Equity) Travel group in North West London

Client Details

Michael Page Finance are delighted to be partnering a leading Travel company based in North West London.

The company has recently sold to private equity and turnover £100m. A leader in the vertical they operate in the business was established over a century ago and provide unique and luxury travel. The private equity firm are investing heavily in systems as well as driving growth both organically and via acquisition.

As part of the transaction, the business is looking to appoint a Group Finance Manager.

Description
  • Consolidation & Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements across multiple subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS/UK GAAP.
  • Management Accounts: Deliver timely management accounts and performance analysis to senior leadership and private equity stakeholders.
  • Financial Controls: Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures across the group.
  • Audit & Compliance: Coordinate external audits, liaise with auditors, and ensure statutory filings and tax compliance are met.
  • Investor Reporting: Prepare detailed financial packs and KPIs tailored to private equity requirements, including covenant monitoring and board reporting.
  • Process Improvement: Drive efficiency in financial systems, reporting processes, and automation initiatives.
  • M&A Support: Assist with due diligence, integration of acquisitions, and post-deal financial reporting.
  • Tax: Corporate Tax, fair value adjustments
Profile

A successful Group Finance Manager should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification from a Top practice (ACA/ACCA) looking for a first or second move
  • Group consolidation experience with multi-currency
  • P.E company experience would be advantageous (client or in-house)
  • Strong technical finance knowledge
  • Able to thrive in a growth environment
  • Strong Excel Skills
