Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a leading multi-site manufacturer based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire in their search for an exceptional Group Finance Manager. Our client is a market leading manufacturing specialist with a wealth of expertise. The Group Finance Manager will play a key role in producing consolidated accounts and supporting the wider finance function, while overseeing a small team. This established position will take ownership of multi-site accounts and provide the opportunity to add value through commercial initiatives, including full budgetary control and business partnering with operational teams.

Duties and responsibilities to include:

• Production of consolidated management accounts across all group entities
• Acting as a Business Partner with operational teams
• Leading the consolidated budgeting process
• Producing high-quality management information
• Reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing year-end statutory accounts
• Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
• Taking overall responsibility for CAPEX processes
• Driving the continued development of processes and controls across the finance function
• Leading and supporting a small team, including reviewing work where required
