Job description

Role - Group Finance Director. Location - Manchester. Salary - Between £130,000 and £160,000 + benefits.

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a well-established privately-owned global professional services business in their search for a Group Finance Director to work out of their office based in Manchester city centre.

The successful candidate will need to be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and must have experience of working for global organisations previously. Strong technical accounting skills are absolutely essential and any experience of working for a professional services company previously would be a distinct advantage. The ability to influence the board and bring key financial insight into key strategic decisions will be absolutely crucial. Excellent staff management skills are a must as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Key duties for the Group Finance Director role will involve:

  • Lead on budgeting and forecasting process
  • Oversee the consolidated month end and year end processes
  • Build relationships with banks, auditors etc.
  • Cash-flow management
  • Oversee the F, P & A within the organisation
  • Assist with global tax positions and regulatory compliance
  • Assist with the strategy of the business moving forward.
  • Provide financial assistance and due diligence with any potential acquisitions
  • Management of a finance team of circa 20

Salary for the role is anywhere between £130,000 and £160,000 + benefits.
