Group Consolidations Supervisor

£60,000 - £65,000 + bonus and benefits package

Hammersmith (Hybrid 1-2 days a week in the office)

Our client, a globally based market leader within their chosen sector, has a key opening within their group finance team for a technically strong finance professional with a strong consolidation skillset.

The principal purpose of the role is to ensure timely production of high-quality group consolidated monthly management accounts, which are regularly reviewed by the senior executive team.

Key responsibilities will include :

  • Leading the preparation and production of local consolidation packages.
  • Leading the production of local financial statements.
  • Managing and executing local reporting activities that are related to financial statements and other regional reporting.
  • Providing support to local general ledger accountants on IFRS topics and other accounting standards.
  • Leading the annual audit performed by external auditors.
  • Supervise team members across the day-to-day operation, support and assist with their development, ensure deadlines are maintained.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in IFRS standards and ensure their correct application.
  • Assist general ledger accountants for the application of new IFRS standards and other consolidation retreatment.
  • Produce and review the annual financial statements in accordance with local regulations.
  • Manage external audit for both consolidation packages and local financial statements and provide necessary reports and analysis to the external auditors
  • Review and improve financial processes across the region

The successful candidate will be professionally qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) and have a proven track record of producing group consolidated management accounts. They will have experienced IFRS accounting and be able to give multiple examples of when they have added value across a complex international setup.
