Job summary

A leading financial services firm in London is looking for a Group Accountant to manage financial reporting and operations. The role includes delivering consolidated financials, preparing reporting packs, and improving reporting processes. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience in UK GAAP and a strong attention to detail. This position also includes a compensation package of £60-70,000, plus bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the production of statutory accounts, including complex consolidations.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver monthly consolidated financials, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual statutory reporting packs.
  • Manage intercompany reconciliations and consolidation journals.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and ad-hoc financial analysis.
  • Improve and streamline group reporting processes.

ReportingdirectlytotheHeadofGroupReporting,thisroleoffersbroadexposureacrossthegroup’sinvestmentportfolioandtheopportunitytoworkcloselywithteamsthroughoutthebusiness.

It’sadynamic,variedposition—idealforsomeonelookingtomakearealimpactacrossbothfinancialandoperationalareas.Thebusinesshasbeenactiveonboththeacquisitionanddisposalfront,andastheymoveintothenewyearwitharefreshedgrowthstrategy,they’relookingtofurtherexpandtheirportfoliointothehospitalityandresidentialsectorsaspartoftheirlong-termvalue-creationplans.

KeyResponsibilities:

CandidateRequirements:

  • Excellentcommunicationskillsandteamworking.
