Well-Established Groundworks Contractor

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworks Supervisor / Manager to join a well-established and reputable residential contractor delivering projects across Norfolk & Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take responsibility for multiple sites and oversee groundworks operations from start to finish.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Overall management of groundworks packages across multiple sites
• Planning, programming and coordinating works to meet project deadlines
• Managing site teams, supervisors and subcontractors
• Ensuring all works are delivered safely and in line with H&S regulations, RAMS and company procedures
• Liaising with clients, main contractors, engineers and suppliers
• Overseeing quality control and ensuring works meet required specifications
• Managing plant, materials and labour efficiently
• Monitoring progress, reporting to senior management and resolving site issuesEnsuring works are delivered within programme and budget
• Attending site meetings and inspections as required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Groundworks Manager or Senior Supervisor
• Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, foundations and external works
• SMSTS (or SSSTS with progression), CSCS card
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Full UK driving licence
