Grounds Maintenance Operatives
Pay Rate: £12.21
Shifts: Monday - Friday 07:00-16:30
Location: Newcastle, NE15 0HF

This is a 5-month Fixed Term contract for the summer period.

Manpower is recruiting on behalf of our national client for candidates to join their grounds maintenance team.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality grounds maintenance services to a range of clients across the local area. This includes mowing, strimming, and hedge pruning. You will liaise with customers, report any inquiries or defects on site, and accurately complete paperwork when required, including using the SMS app and providing photographs. Ensuring a safe working environment and conducting daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment are essential.

Training includes on-the-job training and standard induction for best practices.

Requirements:

• Full valid UK Driving License
• Experience in a similar Grounds Maintenance role
• Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Willingness to learn and participate in training
• Safety-conscious mindset
• Ability to safely operate equipment and hand tools (e.g., strimmers, backpack blowers, push mowers)
• Experience working in a busy team and providing high-quality service
