£40,000 to £45,000 Per Annum + package

We are recruiting for an exciting new opportunity for a Contract Manager based in the North West area to support the Head of Operations with the management and delivery of a prestigious grounds maintenance contract to include management of staff & budgets and planning the tasks & resources to ensure the provision of a high-quality, efficient and safe service.

This position is for a proven manager who wants to develop themselves and progress within this area of the UK.

Who are you
  • A self-motivated and experienced Contract Manager with perseverance and an entrepreneurial appetite.
  • An in-depth understanding of landscape and horticultural management
  • A strategic outlook driving continuous service improvement and efficiencies
  • IT skills with a good understanding of Microsoft Office / Google systems
  • The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of managing Grounds Maintenance teams, being able to drive productivity and ensuring that the workforce provides a quality service.
A Glimpse into the Role awaiting You

Based in the North West, this is a dynamic and hands-on role involving taking the lead on the delivery of our services, monitoring the progress of the teams on-site and taking quick and effective action to maintain both high productivity and client satisfaction across a wide range of static and mobile commercial sites.

  • Manage and motivate your teams (static / site based and mobile) to deliver the highest possible levels of service.
  • Responsible for the Contract accounts and production of weekly and monthly reports.
  • Recruitment of permanent staff.
  • Daily liaison with Client Officers.
  • Overseeing system compliance and quality checks.
  • Organising teams and rotas to produce effective works schedules and ensure delivery
  • Taking a leading role in health and safety.
  • Budget planning, preparation and management.

You will not be working in isolation, you will be liaising and collaborating with regional and national operations managers and colleagues.
