Dakota Hotel based in Dakota Eurocentral are seeking an outgoing individual with waiting experience for the role of Restaurant Waiter / Waitress to deliver exceptional service to our guests. Working predominantly evening shifts, this role is ideal for individuals who may have day‑time commitments.

Our location, Parklands Ave, Motherwell ML1 4WQ, is just off the M8 motorway in Maxim Business Park at the Eurocentral Junction. We are a 92‑bedroom boutique hotel boasting a destination Bar & Grill restaurant and a newly built wedding events space. The venue is easily accessible by car with complimentary parking for both employees and guests, and there are frequent CityLink 900 bus services only 20 minutes from Buchanan St Bus Station.

CONTRACT AND PAY RATE
  • The role carries a permanent contract with typical hours of 15 hours per week.
  • Pay rate is national minimum wage plus tronc payments of at least £1.50.
PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Carry out the role of a section waiter/waitress, providing table service, taking guest orders and running large trays of food to guest tables.
  • Provide the highest levels of guest service, offering personalised dish and beverage recommendations, and delivering a memorable dining experience.
  • Work closely with the Bar and Kitchen team to ensure the effective flow of communication.
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage menu options to enhance the guest experience.

  • At least 1 year working experience, ideally in a hospitality environment.

  • Ability to work at pace and be physically active for the duration of your shift.
