Overview

An exciting opportunity is available to join Oxleas CAMHS as Team Manager of the Oxleas CAMHS Mental Health Support Team (MHST) within the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The MHST is part of a national initiative working in collaboration with education settings to improve the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.

Responsibilities

As Team Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective day‑to‑day delivery of the service within Greenwich, supporting the teams to provide a high quality, safe and responsive mental health and wellbeing service to children, young people and families within local primary and secondary education settings. You will work in close partnership with education colleagues, local authority, partner agencies and will develop strong working relationships with senior clinical, professional and managerial leads within Oxleas CAMHS and the wider Trust. The service will be undergoing further expansion in line with national MHST targets and priorities, and you will lead the teams through change to achieve ambitious goals and continuously improve the service.

Qualifications
  • Experience of managing staff, leading a team/service and change management are essential.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and management skills.
