Job Description

As our new Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for delivering the creative direction & execution of the Work.Life brand across all visual communications, in partnership with colleagues in the Marketing team.

Primarily supporting the commercial and marketing function of the business with market-leading graphic & visual design assets to deliver against strategic goals. You will deliver quality design that speaks to our audience and reflects the company’s values, mission and Brand DNA while ensuring consistency across all touch points.

As the sole in-house designer, you’ll also be responsible supporting the wider business with design requests.

Responsibilities

Key priorities for your first few months:

  • Design assets delivered to a high standard and on time
  • Consistent brand messaging and design aesthetic across all brand touchpoints
  • Impact on our brand KPIs through contribution towards brand campaigns, and brand guardianship of all customer facing collateral.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Take a lead design role, executing the work yourself, for the brand across all channels including Social, Display, Email, Print, Merchandise and Outdoor. The list is not exhaustive, and the marketing mix is likely to expand over time.
  • Working closely with the marketing team on the production of creative campaigns from conception through to media delivery.
  • Manage internal design requests, taking briefs, communicating delivery timelines and delivering design assets
  • Keep relevant touch-points up to date (Canva, Sharepoint) to enable the wider team to create great design for their spaces and functions
  • Work with the senior brand marketing manager to manage and partner with relevant external creatives/agencies to deliver agreed campaign assets
How you’ll measure success:
  • Quality measure – from In-house Design survey
  • Pace of delivery measure – from In-house Design survey

Ideally, you’ll have basic animation / motion design skills, but this is not mandatory.
  • Creativity: You’ll have a great ability to translate the brand identity across visual touch-points in creative, unique ways. Always elevating the brand to a creative connection with our audience.
