We are seeking a proactive and diligent Grants Co-ordinator to play a vital role in our journey towards net zero. In this role, you will be directly involved in initiatives that help reduce the Island's carbon footprint, contributing to a greener and more sustainable future.

The ideal candidate will be digitally confident, highly organised and comfortable working in a project-based environment with a strong focus on delivering a positive customer experience.

This role offers a strong sense of purpose, alignment with environmental values, and the opportunity to develop valuable skills in digital technology and project management.

This role is a fixed-term contract until 31 December 2026, with 20 hours per week ideally worked across five days (four hours per day) - offering excellent flexibility to balance work with other commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the administration activities for the Government of Jersey's low carbon incentive programmes on behalf of JE as Scheme Administrator
  • Process grant applications and redemptions with high levels of accuracy according to pre-defined criteria
  • Use reporting tools to track, analyse and reconcile progress of grant applications
  • Resolve and elevate grant application and redemption issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain orderly electronic filing of information
  • Adhere to data privacy requirements
  • Communicate in a professional manner with internal and external stakeholders
  • Attend and record actions from regular stakeholder meetings
  • Provide administrative support as required to the Project Management Office across a variety of project related tasks and initiatives
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • At least 2-3 years' experience in an administration or coordination role
  • Highly organised, with the ability plan, prioritise and meet deadlines across both short and long-term tasks
  • Confident working across multiple technology platforms
  • Acts with discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
  • Comfortable working with and manipulating data to provide insights and reporting for key stakeholders
  • Able to build positive relationships with managers, colleagues and wider stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Competent IT skills, using MS Office 365 tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Forms and Lists
