You don’t need school experience yet, just the right attitude and a willingness to learn. If you’ve worked with children before, supported young people, coached, mentored, volunteered, or just have that natural calm energy that people gravitate towards, you’ll fit right in.

  • Helping them navigate routines, regulate emotions, and access learning
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and experienced TAs
  • Bringing patience, positivity, and empathy to every interaction
  • Learning loads about behaviour, SEND strategies, and trauma-informed approaches
We’d love to hear from graduates in…
  • Psychology
  • Education
  • Social sciences
  • Childhood studies
  • Criminology
  • Sports sciences
  • Health and social care…or anyone who’s simply passionate about helping young people thrive.
What you’ll get with Protocol Education
  • Weekly PAYE pay, no umbrella company deductions
  • Free training, including behaviour support, autism awareness, and safeguarding
  • Your own consultant who’ll support you from day one
  • Opportunities across SEND, mainstream, and alternative settings
  • Referral bonuses for recommending friends
  • A friendly, smooth registration process
One more thing…

If you’re not Thrive trained yet, don’t worry. We offer it completely free, and it’s a huge advantage in specialist schools. It helps you understand emotional development and gives you brilliant strategies for supporting pupils.

If you’re a graduate who wants a rewarding, people-focused role where no two days are the same, send a quick message and we’ll get you booked in for a chat.
