Graduate Town Planner: Exciting Opportunity with a Leading Planning Consultancy

Are you a recent graduate looking to kick start your career in town planning? We have an exciting opportunity with a well-established, dynamic planning consultancy known for delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across a diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of planning applications, reports, and assessments
  • Conduct research and analysis on planning policies, regulations, and local authority practices
  • Support senior planners in the development of strategies for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments
  • Engage in site visits, environmental assessments, and stakeholder consultations
  • Contribute to the preparation of development proposals, planning applications, and appeal submissions

Requirements

  • A degree in Town Planning or related field (RTPI accredited preferred but not essential)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for sustainable urban development and creating vibrant communities
  • Proficiency in MS Office and planning-related software (e.g., GIS, AutoCAD, etc.)
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently and within a team
