Graduate Town Planner – Location: Cambridge. Salary: Competitive, depending on experience. A growing multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a Graduate Town Planner to join its expanding team. The firm provides agency, professional, and consultancy services across rural, commercial, and residential property, agriculture, and the environment, with offices across East Anglia, the Midlands, Yorkshire and Humber, as well as overseas. The organisation combines technical expertise with local knowledge to deliver results for clients. Responsibilities
  • Support senior planners with planning applications and appeals
  • Conduct site assessments and research to inform projects
  • Liaise with local authorities, clients, and stakeholders
  • Draft planning reports, statements, and supporting documents
  • Attend site visits and planning meetings, contributing observations and insights
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Degree in Town Planning and RTPI accreditation
  • Some experience through internships, placements, or academic projects
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proactive, collaborative, and eager to develop professionally
