Graduate Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools

Location: Gainsborough

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Full-Time, Part-Time, Term Time Only

Salary: 90 - 95 per day

Hours: 8:15am - 3:45pm, Monday to Friday

About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a range of welcoming primary schools in Gainsborough to recruit Graduate Teaching Assistants for September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers to gain hands-on classroom experience before progressing into teacher training.

Whether you are considering a PGCE, School Direct, or another teacher training course, this role will give you valuable experience in supporting pupils' learning and development within a supportive school environment.

The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils across Early Years, Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Provide whole-class support, small group interventions, and 1:1 assistance for pupils who require additional help
  • Gain valuable experience in Special Educational Needs support
  • Work closely with experienced teachers and school staff to enhance pupils' progress and wellbeing
We are looking for graduates who
