Graduate Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools (Bolton)

Are you a recent graduate considering a career in teaching? Do you want hands‑on experience in primary schools before committing to teacher training? Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in the Bolton area.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are passionate about education and want to gain valuable classroom experience while working alongside experienced teachers and education professionals. You will have the chance to support pupils across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, developing the skills and confidence needed for a future career in teaching.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting learning and helping pupils reach their full potential. You may work one‑to‑one with children, support small groups, or assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management. Roles are available on a daily, long‑term, and full‑time basis, offering flexibility to suit your availability and career plans.

The role may involve:

• Supporting pupils with their learning across a range of subjects
• Working with small groups to reinforce learning objectives
• Providing one‑to‑one support for children who need additional help
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities
