Job summary

A local recruitment agency in Caerphilly is seeking a candidate to generate and amend machine programs in the Auto Insert department, ensuring effective implementation of project requirements. The role requires PCB manufacturing experience, machine programming skills, and the ability to research and optimize projects for efficiency. The successful candidate will need to maintain quality management standards and be proficient in Microsoft Office. This position offers structured working hours across two weeks.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the electronics industry required.
  • Understanding component data sheets is necessary.
  • Machine programming experience is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all NPI and MRP projects by agreed timescales.
  • Research all new parts and ensure correct shape is associated with parts.
  • Maintain and control all modifications to programs and paperwork.

To generate and amend the machine programs in the Auto Insert department and update product build standard documentation in line with customer requirements.

Outcomes of Role
  • NPI & MRP programs generated in full, on time for Auto Insert Department
  • 100% effective implementation of ECN /deviation requirements for program generation.
Responsibilities
  • To complete all NPI and MRP projects by agreed timescales
  • To download the Syspro BOM and/or customer data pack
  • To use customer drawings, component datasheet, CAD and Gerber to set a new project up in Factory Logix
  • To panelise the above data and pass into FUJI
  • To research all new parts and ensure correct shape is associated with all parts
  • To optimise for maximum efficiency the FUJI program
  • To create the Label, Etch, DEK and SPI base programs with the relevant documentation
  • To create AOI CAD files for the base program at Inline and main inspection AOI
  • To create Axial and Radial placement programs
  • To carry out both first and second checks on the above programs
  • To issue and maintain all build paperwork in both hard and soft copy prior to project start in production
  • To action and check all completed ECN, and Build Deviation
  • To maintain and control all modifications to the programs and paperwork
  • To ensure that all company operating values and compliance procedures are always adhered to, including quality management, health and safety, legal stipulation, environmental.

Hours of work:
  • Week 1 – 5.48am until 2pm Monday to Friday
  • Week 2 – 1.45pm until 12pm Monday to Thursday
