Job summary

A reputable recruitment agency is seeking Graduate STEM Teaching Assistants for secondary schools in Brent. This role offers STEM graduates the opportunity to earn up to £600 per week while gaining valuable classroom experience. Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – Brent Secondary Schools – Up to £600 per week – January Start

Are you a high-achieving STEM graduate looking to make a real impact in education? A group of reputable secondary schools in Brent are seeking driven graduates to join them as Graduate STEM Teaching Assistants.

This is an outstanding opportunity to gain paid, hands-on classroom experience while supporting students in Maths, Science and related subjects.

The Role

As a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide targeted support in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Engineering-based subjects.
  • Deliver small-group and one-to-one interventions to raise attainment and challenge high-achieving students.
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, with chances to lead parts of lessons as you progress.
  • Offer academic mentoring and study skills support ahead of key exams.
Who We Looking For
  • A 2:1 or above in a STEM-related degree.
  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence working with KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable).
  • Excellent communication, professionalism, and a proactive approach.
  • Experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential.
