Pay: £90-£95 per day

Contract: Full Time

About the Role

We are looking for a committed Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Lambeth. This full‑time role involves supporting primary‑aged children with complex Special Educational Needs (SEN), including pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), communication needs, and social‑emotional challenges.

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work both 1:1 and within small groups, helping children access learning, regulate emotions, and develop key skills. Experience working with children is essential, and SEN or ASD experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support to pupils with complex SEN and ASD
  • Assist with learning activities and behaviour regulation
  • Implement personalised strategies under teacher and SENCo guidance
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
  • Maintain a calm, patient and nurturing approach
