The Role

As a Graduate Façade Engineer, you'll work alongside experienced professionals to develop your expertise across diverse and challenging projects that directly contribute to building safety. This is an exceptional opportunity to build a rewarding career in a critical sector.

What You'll Be Doing

Core Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of high‑quality façade engineering services to clients nationwide
• Assist with Fire Risk Appraisal External Wall reports following PAS9980 : 2022 standards
• Participate in site visits and assessments under supervision
• Contribute to technical reports and client presentations
• Support third‑party reviews and design verification activities
• Learn industry‑leading standards including PAS 9980, BS 8414, BR135, BS 8579, and BS EN 13501-1
• Develop fire safety expertise using guidance from Approved Document B, BS 9999, BS 9991, and other relevant standards

Essential Qualifications

• Degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Façade Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Surveying, or related discipline (minimum 2 : 2)
• Genuine passion for fire safety and façade engineering
• Must have a background in Fire Safety
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and methodical approach to work
• Self‑motivated with excellent organisational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Qualifications

• Understanding of UK fire safety legislation and building regulations
• Previous work experience or placement in construction, building surveying, façade engineering, or fire safety
• Membership or eligibility for professional bodies (IFE, IFSM, or relevant engineering institutions)
