The Role

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer to join the Design & Product Development team in London. Reporting to the Head of Design & Product Development, you will support the design and development of the next generation of data centres.

This role will provide hands-on exposure to engineering design, modelling, simulation, and CAD, as well as collaboration with utility providers, vendors, and operations teams across the UK, Finland, and Iceland. It’s a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for technology, infrastructure, and sustainability to kick-start their career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new design concepts and present them to the team, working with senior engineers to take ideas through to execution.
  • Contribute to technical feasibility studies, including market research and analysis of emerging data centre and energy technologies.
  • Assist with technical whitepapers and reports to support the Product Development Roadmap.
  • Support vendor coordination and contribute to project success at all stages.
  • Take ownership of smaller product initiatives under the guidance of senior team members.
Key Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience in CAD and the ability to quickly learn new tools and skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership or project management within academic or extracurricular settings.
  • Strong interest in the built environment, infrastructure, and sustainable technologies.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (UK, Finland, Iceland).
