Job summary

A growing engineering consultancy in Stourbridge is seeking a Graduate Design Engineer (Geotechnical) to support civil and railway design projects. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering or Geology and will receive strong technical mentoring and training in areas such as drainage design. This hybrid role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 along with flexible hours and opportunities for professional progression.

Qualifications

  • Commutable Stourbridge for the role.
  • Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site surveys and audits.
  • Perform drawing and analytical design reviews.
  • Liaise with clients on project specifications.
  • Receive on-the-job training in specialist fields such as drainage design.
  • Work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (Flexible hours).

In this role, you'll support geotechnical and railway design projects through site inspections, analytical design work, drawing reviews, and direct client interaction.
