Overview

We're looking for Graduate Civil/Structural Design Engineers to join our Transportation team based across various Midlands/Northern locations. You will be working in the Kier Design area of Transportation, supporting on the Civil/Structural part of the projects. As a Graduate Civil/Structural Design Engineer, you'll be an essential part of our engineering team, helping to shape the future of construction across the UK. You'll have the chance to work in a variety of teams, either on-site where the action happens or in a design-based role, depending on where your interests lie.

What will your day-to-day duties include?
  • Assisting in the preparation and management of project designs, plans, and specifications
  • Supporting the development and monitoring of project schedules and budgets
  • Conducting site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
  • Collaborating with project managers and engineers to solve technical issues and ensure project success
  • Preparing technical reports, documentation, and providing project updates
