Graduate Civil Engineer – Leeds

NEW VACANCY – GRADUATE CIVIL ENGINEER – LEEDS AREA

We are pleased to be recruiting for a niche consultancy, established over 15 years, and experiencing massive growth. This is an excellent opportunity to work for an innovative and vibrant engineering consultancy providing specialist civil and structural engineering services for the construction industry, modular manufacturers, local authorities, and developers.

Candidate Requirements

• You must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working in infrastructure design, predominantly on drainage schemes.
• You will probably come from a medium sized practice and be used to working as part of an engineering team to deliver a holistic, integrated project.
• You will have experience of simple Flood Risk Assessments and management of external consultants for more complex cases.
• You will have experience of producing Drainage Strategy Reports for planning; and will be able to demonstrate how to develop this from an initial enquiry stage. The ability to use MicroDrainage or Causeway Flow is essential, and you may be asked to demonstrate this at interview.
• You will be involved with External works design / levels for private car parks and access to developments such as care homes / offices / car showrooms. Experience with Small highway works, eg S278 for site entrances would be advantageous.

Minimum Qualifications

• You must have at least HND level in Civil Engineering.
• Also essential is a desire to develop personally and professionally as this position is key to the growth plans of the business.

Working Hours

Full time hours Monday to Friday (Flexible working).
