Salary: £25,0000 – £27,000

This is a phenomenal opportunity to join my client, a fresh, eco-conscious Multidisciplinary Consultancy, currently in the process of establishing themselves as an industry-leading team of design experts in the Water and wider Civil Engineering sectors. They are actively seeking a capable, determined Graduate Civil Engineer with a particular interest in drainage and non-infrastructure design. You will work alongside a newly-established team of design engineers, based near the lively, artsy city of Glasgow.

  • Delivering an array of projects and developments across the residential, commercial, and industrial landscapes

  • Preparing technical documents, such as reports and calculations
  • Attending site visits
Required skills and experience for the role of Graduate Civil Engineer include:
  • A UK Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering
  • A keen interest in working with water-based, non-infrastructure projects (such as reservoirs, water treatment plants, pumping stations, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of drainage systems and strategies
  • Proficient in the use of various design software packages (including Revit, AutoCAD, etc.)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Graduate Civil Engineer include:
  • A UK Master’s Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering, or a similar, relevant discipline
  • A commitment to attaining Chartered Status
  • Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
  • Experience of working in a design-based role, within a UK-based consultancy setting
  • Some experience of preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Sustainable Drainage Design (SuDS)
