A growing consultancy firm in Norwich is seeking a Project Manager to oversee capital projects across various sectors. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior staff and support the delivery of technically complex projects while gaining experience towards chartered status. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, alongside a relevant degree or experience in consultancy. This role offers a full-time, permanent position with a supportive environment.
Our Norwich Office continues to grow, with specific growth demand within Infrastructure, Residential, Health, Commercial, Education, Industrial and Masterplanning sectors, where we have successfully secured positions with many leading local / national clients and some key local projects and programs in the industry.
The successful candidate will work alongside our existing Project Managers, Associates or Partners to successfully manage and deliver various capital projects across East Anglia and nationally. The role would cover the whole project life from initial inception and business case development estimates, through the design and procurement and onto the site delivery and commissioning phase. This broad and rounded experience is second to none within the local area and we will actively assist in developing the candidate towards ultimately chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors - MRICS or agreed equivalent. RUA LLP will provide the candidate with support and guidance towards achieving industry leading chartered / member status.
The candidate should hold the skills and experience through their degree or job experience to actively support the internal team under supervision, whilst also supporting more junior staff on projects typically ranging in size from £500k to £20m. They will assist RUA LLP to develop collaborative relationships with our clients and other professional colleagues within the industry.
They will have the ability to successfully support the delivery of projects under supervision, leading to further repeat clients and opportunities. As experience develops, this support will ultimately lead to managing and leading projects of their own.
RICS, MCIOB accredited degree, or similar i.e. BSc (Hons).
Enrolled upon the RICS or similar pathway through year-out work (not essential).
