AlphaSights' commercial strategy pillar, which sits within the Strategy & Analytics team, is instrumental in driving the company's growth agenda by leading analytically grounded commercial projects, managing client negotiations in conjunction with commercial leaders and executing core commercial processes. The team works closely with senior management to deliver strong renewal outcomes, present regular business reviews to top clients, establish structured processes that improve AlphaSights' commercial standing and advance our commercial reporting systems. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated and hardworking professionals who want to build commercial acumen skills, and learn from colleagues with backgrounds in management consultancy, corporate strategy and data analytics., To support our continuous growth, we are looking for an Analyst to join our commercial strategy team in London and execute commercial operations activities that increase our global revenue generation. You will manage and set up contracts in our system, produce regular commercial reports for key clients, own core contractual processes, and work with the wider Commercial team to perform analyses and develop strategies that improve our commercial KPIs. This position comes with responsibility and ownership from the get-go, and as a cross-functional role, means you will work closely with members of Client Service, Finance and Legal.

  • Contract set-up: Manage the end-to-end set-up and implementation of client access plans within our proprietary systems, and effectively partner with Finance and Client Service teams to resolve any contractual issues
  • Client reporting: Own the execution of recurring reporting processes, which support AlphaSights' commercial effectiveness
  • Stakeholder communications: Act as the internal point of contact for all stakeholder communications related to client access plans and usage reports for our largest clients
  • Contract support: Assist senior management in the commercial negotiation of upcoming renewals and RFPs, and manage the contractual price increase process
  • Commercial analysis: Use quantitative and qualitative data to perform analyses and draw valuable insights that further our commercial growth

    Entry-level role - no prior work experience is necessary, however, relevant internships and other evidence of interest in a business and commercial career are desirable

  • Highly numerate - you love working with numbers and the story they can tell, and hold a 2:1 or above in a quantitative degree (e.g., Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Finance)
  • Effective communicator - you have excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills; can positively engage with a wide variety of stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Organized and execution-focused - you have excellent planning skills, can meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous problem-solver - you have exceptional attention to detail, take a diligent approach to work, and have a proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Highly driven and proactive - you relentlessly and independently push through hurdles and drive towards excellent outcomes

Technical Skills
