Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly, well‑established GMS practice as a salaried GP. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and committed GP to join our dedicated team from 1 April 2026.

Position & Salary

Position: 4 sessions per week
Salary: £11,000 per session (rising to £11,500 per session after successful completion of probation)

Practice Overview

• List size: Over 9,500 patients
• CQC rating: Good
• Team: 1 full‑time GP partner, 2 part‑time GP partners, 2 full‑time salaried GPs, 2 part‑time salaried GPs, 2 part‑time practice nurses, and 1 full‑time healthcare assistant
• We are looking for a proactive and forward‑thinking GP focused on delivering compassionate, high‑quality care to a diverse patient population
• Consistently high QOF achievers, offering a wide range of enhanced services

Working Hours

Surgery hours are 8:00 am – 6:45 pm, Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibilities

• Advise patients on lifestyle changes to improve health outcomes
• Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies
• Explain test results and medical procedures to patients
• Collaborate with colleagues regarding specialised patient needs
• Share Bullsmoor Lodge care home visits and duty doctor responsibilities; duties will be shared equally among the partners and existing salaried GPs on a pro‑rata basis
• Wednesday: AM session
• Thursday: AM session
• Friday: AM and PM sessions

Person Specification

Essential:

• Must be on the GMC GP Register

Desirable:

• Previous experience of working in a GP practice
