A local GP practice in Warrington is seeking a friendly and motivated receptionist/administrator to join their supportive team. This part-time position involves direct patient interaction, managing appointments, and handling administrative duties. Ideal candidates will have experience in a GP practice, possess strong communication skills, and be familiar with the EMIS web system. The practice ensures a welcoming environment with a focus on patient care and team collaboration. This role is essential for coordinating patient services in a busy healthcare setting.

We are looking friendly and motivated person to join our team as a receptionist/administrator at our busy GP practice
We have a welcoming and supportive team of clinicians and admin staff with a low staff turnover.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience of working in a GP practice or similar environment. They will fit into to the existing reception team and support the clinicians and colleagues.
Our practice team is made up of 2 GP Partners, a Salaried GP, a nurse, Practice Manager and five receptionists.
We use EMIS web clinical system.
Job advertised - part time - 25.5 hours position.
To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception and administrative duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, patient registration, booking appointments, processing of information (electronic and hard copy) and assisting patients as required. To act as the central point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
