GP/Health Centre Private Patient Coordinator – London
  • Location: London, Marylebone Area – Prestigious Private GP & Health Clinic

  • Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday)

  • Shifts: Rotating early and late shifts between 7:30am – 7:30pm

  • Contract Type: Permanent

  • Salary £30000-£35000 depending on experience + plus a vast array of benefits, including private medical healthcare insurance.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a professional and enthusiastic GP/Health Centre Private Patient Coordinator to join our outstanding Health Clinic in London.

This is a varied, people-focused role. You’ll work as part of a friendly, collaborative team, supporting both patients and clinicians to deliver exceptional care across the clinic to private patients.

The role combines front-of-house reception, clinical coordination, and administrative excellence to ensure every patient receives a seamless, five-star experience from first contact to referral follow‑up and ongoing engagement. You’ll manage patient records, referrals, and correspondence while providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients, front of house reception, and ensure a smooth, professional journey throughout their visit
  • Manage patient enquiries via phone, email, and in person with efficiency and empathy
  • Maintain patient records and databases with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support GPs with notes, referrals, and correspondence
  • Process invoices and billing accurately
  • Assist in preparing and delivering health screening reports
  • Liaise with consultants, hospitals, and insurers to coordinate patient care
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and service

What You Will Bring

  • Previous receptionist or front-of-house experience in a GP Practice, or Health Centre.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, in person and by phone/email
  • Strong administrative, secretarial and organisational abilities with great attention to detail
  • Confident working independently in a fast-paced, professional environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems (training provided on our database)
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and remain calm under pressure
  • A collaborative team player with a polished and professional manner
  • Flexibility to work early and late shifts
