Location : Bolton

Salary : £71,064 £82,158 (Grade 9)

Contract Type : Permanent, 36 hours per week

Join our team as Governance and Compliance Lead

We're looking for an experienced and proactive Governance and Compliance Lead to shape our organisations approach to governance, risk, compliance and assurance. This is a senior leadership role that ensures we operate with integrity, transparency and in line with all statutory, legal and regulatory requirements.

You’ll work closely with the Board, Committees and Executive Team, providing strategic advice and assurance, and championing a culture of accountability and high standards. If you're passionate about governance and compliance and want to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and maintain governance frameworks, policies and internal controls, ensuring high-quality support and assurance for the Board, Committees and senior leaders.
  • Provide strategic guidance on governance, legal, regulatory and compliance matters, and oversee Board member recruitment, induction and development.
