Qualifications

• Previous experience in 'goods in' within a manufacturing environment.
• FLT Licence and UK Drivers Licence.
• Proven ability to identify raw materials.
• Skilled in the use of traditional measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles in line with H&S procedures.
• Check Goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and damages.
• Quality check goods on arrival prior to accepting load.
• Movement of goods between departments.
• Notify relevant departments if any shortages occur on deliveries.

Skills

Previous experience in 'goods in' within a manufacturing environment

FLT Licence and UK Drivers Licence

Proven ability to identify raw materials

Skilled in the use of traditional measuring equipment

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Working knowledge of non-conformance processes

Knowledge of business central or equivalent ERP system

Strong communication skills

Familiarity with ISO 9001 and 14001 compliance standards
