Goods in Person – Warehouse Operator/Despatch Operative

£12.21 per hour plus overtime and excellent benefits – 39 hours per week, Mon to Fri (early finish on Fri), GL12 South Gloucestershire. 28 days holiday rising to 35 days with service, pension, bonus, parking, employee welfare scheme and life insurance. Permanent role to start ASAP.

Overview

We have an excellent opportunity for a Goods in Person to join our successful manufacturing client based in South Gloucestershire on a permanent basis. Working as part of a small and friendly team, the Warehouse Operator will bring experience from a similar role within a production or engineering environment and enjoy a varied day‑to‑day workload.

Responsibilities

• Unload vehicles and put stock away
• Book in goods and put stock away
• Check off items in the system and label products
• Perform some deburring work
• Open to forklift training (a licence is not essential)

Qualifications / Skills

• Strong communication skills and a good work ethic
• Good IT skills and excellent attention to detail
• Friendly team player able to communicate across all departments
• Counterbalance forklift licence is ideal but not essential – training will be provided

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: £24,761 per annum (£12.21 per hour) with opportunity for overtime at time and a half.

Holiday: 28 days (rising to 35 days with service) including bank holidays.
