Purpose of the role : *
To provide a variety of golf‑specific services to golfers at Woodcote Park, ranging from the care of member equipment to the upkeep of golf facilities.
The key purpose is to enhance the daily experience of members by providing both informative and physical assistance where necessary.
A great attendant can anticipate the needs of their members prior to arrival, assisting to manage daily expectations and ensure a smooth journey from arrival to departure.
Responsibilities : *
- To coordinate the daily handling of members’ golf equipment. Both daily use and that stored with the Club.
- To facilitate the rental of equipment, for all those requiring these services. The attendant will be able to manage the available inventory, whilst anticipating member requirements.
- Ensure the rental equipment is used appropriately and any misuse is actively reported for the purposes of Health and Safety.
- Ensure the daily upkeep of golf facilities and both report and problem‑solve any damages that need a remedy.
- Provide support to golf reception and other golf service areas that may need daily support.
- Provide support to the golf services coordinator to ensure the daily experience of groups, societies and other related bookings.
- To support the golf administration manager in successfully running the club’s fixtures.
- Ensure the daily upkeep of club facilities, such as the locker rooms, concierge, practice area, shoe cleaning station and club / trolly storage.
- Ensure the daily presentation of electric golf carts, to reflect the image and reputation of the Club
About you : *
- General Golf knowledge and how the game is played
- Health & Safety / First Aid
- Customer service background (hospitality or other relatable industry)
- Time management

- Valid driver's license
