Join our Credit Structuring team as a Vice President or Executive Director, where you'll drive complex product development, structure involved transactions, and lead platform innovation across credit products. As a Vice President or Executive Director in Credit Structuring, you willoversee the structuring and execution of complex credit transactions, provide expert guidance on legal and regulatory matters, and drive the development of structured issuance platforms. You'll collaborate across trading, sales, legal, compliance, risk, and technology teams, engage with clients, and champion best practices in governance and risk management.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee the structuring and execution of complex credit transactions, including derivatives, structured notes, funds, SPVs, illiquid repacks, and dynamic strategies.
  • Provide expert guidance on legal, regulatory, and documentation matters for credit products, ensuring compliance with global frameworks and internal policies.
  • Drive development and enhancement of structured issuance platforms and programs, including Credit Nexus and proprietary credit solutions.
  • Act as a key liaison between trading, sales, legal, compliance, risk, operations, and technology teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Partner with sales and clients to promote JPMorgan’s credit platform capabilities and ensure investor understanding.
  • Oversee restructures, amendments, unwinds, and other actions on legacy credit trades.
  • Champion best practices in transaction governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of structured credit products, credit derivatives, and general derivatives markets.
  • Deep understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to credit structuring(e.g., securities laws, Volcker and other similar rules relevant to US banks, derivatives regulations, cross-border considerations).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong project leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and functions.
  • Formal legal qualification.
  • Experience working with external counsel and regulatory bodies.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with commercial acumen.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving consensus among senior stakeholders.
  • Track record of innovation in product/platform development within credit or structured finance.

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence as assessed by the Firm and, where appropriate, approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
