Job summary

A global healthcare company is seeking a Raw Material Physical Chemist to provide specialist technical leadership in supporting raw material supplier changes. You will act as the subject matter expert and coordinate complex materials risks while optimizing change programmes. The ideal candidate has relevant scientific qualifications and experience in regulated environments. This full-time role is based in Weybridge with a hybrid working arrangement.

Qualifications

• A relevant bachelor's / master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant materials/physical science or engineering field.
• A proven background in physical/process chemistry or engineering roles.
• Experience in OSD LCOs and suspension processing desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support technically complex materials changes across the organization.
• Deliver key Procurement function deliverables through materials science.
• Clearly communicate progress and escalate issues to stakeholders.

Skills

Strong experience in raw material change-implementation

Proven ability to drive performance

Strong people skills

Understanding of materials science

Knowledge of regulatory compliance

Education

Relevant bachelor's / master's degree or Ph.D. in materials/physical science

Tools

Advanced characterization methodologies (e.g. rheometry, GPC)
