Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior HSE leadership within heavy manufacturing or metallurgy.
• Chartered IOSH (CMIOSH) or equivalent professional status required.
• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of UK HSE legislation and ISO management systems.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild and implement a comprehensive HSE management system.
• Conduct a baseline assessment of existing HSE practices.
• Ensure compliance with UK legislation including HSWA 1974 and COSHH.
• Lead the implementation and optimisation of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
