Job Description

As Global Communications Lead at COS, you will support, and work in collaboration with the wider PR & Communications team, contributing to the reputation and awareness of COS through the alignment of global messaging and communications strategies. This role is part of the global Brand and Communications team, working closely with regional teams. You will work on global communications and experiences, ensuring strategies align with organisational objectives.

What you will do
  • Global PR & Communications Strategy: Drive the creation, implementation, and execution of the global PR & Communications strategy.
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Plan, organise, coordinate, and evaluate global brand events and supporting activations. Collaborate with the wider communications team, using data to refine and improve strategies.
  • Internal Communication: Ensure all relevant stakeholders are informed and equipped with the necessary guidance to roll out global PR & Communications activities locally.
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Lead the preparation and evaluation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and project reports. Identify areas for improvement to enhance ways of working and increase ROI.
  • Media and Influencer Management: Ensure global media and influencer lists are relevant, updated, and analysed regularly in collaboration with global and regional teams, considering brand alignment and ROI.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Coordinate with cross-departmental, regional, and external partners and collaborators.
  • Budget Management: Oversee budget management, ensuring regular team updates and adherence to best practices.
  • 360-Degree Project Approach: Ensure the team approaches projects with a 360-degree perspective, aligning cross-departmental efforts across PR, marketing, copy, advertising, and digital media to meet timelines.
  • VIP and Event Planning: Support VIP and event planning for major seasonal brand moments.
  • Paid Media Partnerships: Assist with planning and coordinating global paid media partnerships.

What you need to succeed
  • PR & Communications Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the fashion retail industry.
  • Global Media Savvy: Excellent understanding of the global media, influencer, and VIP landscape, preferably with experience across multiple regions.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Proven experience working closely with various teams and understanding key stakeholders.
  • Event Management: Previous experience with large brand events and runway shows.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present in both physical and digital team meetings.
  • Contract Knowledge: Familiarity with contracts and basic legal terms is beneficial.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional project and stakeholder management skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage your own time effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Proven organizational, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, depending on the yearly calendar.

This is a Full time permanent Contract (On Site) based at our COS Head Office in London.
