Job summary

A leading infrastructure firm based in Warrington is seeking a GIS Technician to join their Major Projects team. The successful candidate will develop and manage spatial databases, conduct quality checks on GIS data, and utilize ArcGIS Pro for detailed spatial analysis. Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, strong organisational skills, and a relevant degree. This position offers the opportunity to work on major infrastructure projects across the UK, including a Carbon Capture Pipeline set to kick off in 2025.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with large spatial datasets in ArcGIS.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience managing spatial data on linear construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain spatial databases to ensure data integrity.
• Conduct quality control and quality assurance checks on GIS data.
• Create and update maps and visualizations to communicate spatial information.

Skills
