A prominent sports organization in the UK is seeking a Gifting and Souvenirs Category Assistant for a 6-month fixed contract. This role supports the Senior Category Manager in the product approval process for licensed merchandise. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills, alongside experience in retail. The position is based at their Distribution Centre Office in Liverpool, offering competitive pay and various employee benefits, including holidays and discounts.
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our LFC Retail Product team as a Gifting and Souvenirs Category Assistant on a Fixed Term Contract. In this role, you'll support the Senior Category Manager providing administrative support across a number of key areas as well as managing product and sample approval within our licensed product division.
To be successful in this role, you must have a keen eye for detail and an acute understanding of retail and licensed products. You will have experience in dealing with branded merchandise and packaging and be able to follow specific guidelines in order to protect the LFC brand.
Strong communication skills are a must for this role alongside the ability to provide accurate feedback and present information in a clear manner. This is a collaborative role, so you will have the ability to build strong working relationships with cross‑functional teams and with external licensees.
We work in a fast‑paced environment; therefore, you will need to be organised and adaptable, manage your time well, and have experience of juggling multiple approvals and projects at once. You will have strong administration skills and be comfortable in using all Microsoft Office packages.
This is a 6‑month fixed contract and your main base will be our Distribution Centre Office in Whiston, Liverpool as part of the product team.
