Job Summary

Due to significant growth opportunities for the Trimble Geosuite product line in existing markets (Sweden and Norway) and new markets (Finland and the UK), Trimble is making a key investment in the Geosuite team and product. We are expanding the team and invite you to join us.

This role offers a unique opportunity to directly impact and improve the digital data flow for Geotechnical engineers by integrating precise positioning, modeling, data analytics technologies and the use of agentic AI. You will be instrumental in transforming how work gets done in the geotechnical field by developing solutions that connect the physical and digital worlds.

What You Will Do

As a Geotechnical Software Solutions Engineer, your daily work will be varied, providing you with the possibility to influence all aspects of software development, including product management, development, customer relations, and assisting sales. You will work closely with the existing Geosuite team and receive comprehensive onboarding and mentoring. This is a global team, requiring flexibility for occasional meetings outside of standard working hours.

Specifically, you will drive the improvement of geotechnical data flow through the following key responsibilities:

  • Innovating Data Solutions: Work with customers to understand their challenges and help them succeed with our geotechnical solutions, with a focus on streamlining their workflows and improving data exchange.
  • Product Vision & Specification: Actively participate in shaping the Geosuite roadmap, discussing the future direction of the product line, and defining new functionality to enhance data management and analysis. Work with specifications of new functionality, collaborating with developers on the implementation of features that specifically improve data flow and connectivity. Helping to ensure efficient workflows across all related Trimble products
  • Domain Expertise & Sales Support: Provide specific domain expertise to the sales team, demonstrating how the Geosuite product line facilitates better data-driven decisions.
  • Customer Engagement & Training: Provide customer support and online training, helping users maximize the efficiency and insights gained from the Trimble Geosuite data ecosystem.
  • Marketing & Industry Representation: Actively participate in marketing activities (conferences, presentations, demo videos, etc.) to showcase the value of enhanced digital data workflows in geotechnical engineering. Ensure Trimble's presence in technical working groups and industry associations to stay at the forefront of data flow standards and innovation.
  • Quality Assurance: Carry out Geosuite software testing to ensure robust and reliable data handling capabilities.
  • Some domestic and international travel to customer sites is required.
What Skills and Experience You Should Bring
  • Geotechnical Background: A BSc or MSc in Geotechnical Engineering (or other relevant background) with experience in the field.
  • Communication: Fluent English language skills (written and spoken). Additionally, depending on the location, fluent Swedish, Norwegian, or Finnish may be required.
  • Collaboration: Good people skills to effectively interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties.
About the location

This is a full-time position based in one of our offices: Sweden (Danderyd or Gothenburg), Norway (Sandvika), Finland (Espoo), or UK (Leeds). We expect you to work in the office at least four days per week.
