Geography Teacher Full-Time Role in Maidstone
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-Time Fixed Term until at least December 2025 (Potential for Extension)
Location: Maidstone, Kent

Are you a qualified and passionate Geography Teacher available to teach until at least December 2025? Supply Desk are working in partnership with a large, reputable secondary school in Maidstone, well-regarded for its high academic standards and supportive teaching environment. This is a full-time role with strong potential for extension or a permanent position.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a dynamic Humanities department. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging Geography lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on inclusive and high-quality learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative, well-structured Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Differentiate content to meet the needs of all learners
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to support achievement
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Participate in school activities and departmental meetings

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in Geography or a related subject
  • Proven experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
  • Confident in lesson planning and classroom management
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to professional development and student success
  • Availability to work full-time through to at least December 2025
