Overview

Job Title: General Sales Manager

Location: Barnstaple

Salary: £45,000 Basic + Bonus (OTE £60,000) + Company Car

Hours: Monday to Saturday - 46 hours per week

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the senior management team. Manage the Sales Executive team to achieve strong monthly sales performance. Drive sales in the department through robust processes and training the team to work professionally.
  • Ensure the team provides strong customer service, maximise sales while promoting a strong profit per unit, and work closely with the finance team to secure the best deal for the customer.
  • Control the used car stock to ensure the right vehicles are available for the market area.
  • Ensure all online adverts are produced in accordance with company and manufacturer guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Essential: experience as a General Sales Manager within the motor trade – at least 2 years in the role.
  • Good understanding of both new and used vehicle sales.
  • Ideally experienced in running a large sales team; highly successful.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence.
