Overview

General Operatives required to support packing and processing operations in a chilled food production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Boxing, crating, and palletising fresh products.
• Operating vacuum packing machinery and strapper equipment.
• Labelling bagged products and following customer packing specifications.
• Scale operation and collection of fat.
• Preparing dolays and undertaking general duties.

Pay & Benefits

Basic Rate: £12.21/hr | Overtime: £18.32/hr (after 40 hours). Holiday entitlement: 5.6 weeks, accrued at 12.07%.

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday (potential weekend work). Shifts: 06:00–14:30 or 15:15–23:45. 30-minute unpaid break.

Compliance Note

All roles require completion of Right-to-Work checks and adherence to GLAA standards. PPE and health & safety training will be provided on site.
