Overview

General manager required for a gastro pub in driving distance of Brighton. This establishment is fresh food and a gastro pub vibe about it. You will work under the owner as general manager to run the day to day operation on the floor. General manager, £45k, Gastro pub.

Responsibilities

• Manage the floor and the day to day running of the gastro pub.
• Ensure the establishment is ready for opening and that everything runs smoothly in service.
• Train new staff, ensure regulars are happy and run the shift.
• Perform all standard general manager duties as part of day-to-day operations.

Experience / Qualifications

• Hands-on general manager with day-to-day operation management experience.
• Background in a dry and wet side operation with a food-led operation.
• Experience in a similar gastro pub/food-led setting preferred.
