A vibrant cocktail bar in South West London is seeking a savvy General Manager to enhance guest loyalty and lead an iconic venue. The ideal candidate will combine commercial acumen with creative flair while managing performance and community relations.
Responsibilities
- Operational excellence: Oversee day‑to‑day operations - from bar shifts to floor, from stock management to logistics, license compliance, and atmospherics.
- Commercial leadership: Own the P&L, hit revenue & margin targets, manage costs, forecast, and drive continuous improvement.
- Creative vision: Be the driving force behind programming, nights, themed events, brand partnerships, and guest experience innovations.
- Guest experience curator: Champion 5-star, memorable magic moment from first touch (social media, bookings) to last drop.
- Hands‑on execution: Lead from the desk and also be on the floor or behind the bar in the trenches when the team needs a hand.
- Brand steward: Fuse The Cocktail Club ethos (fun, bold, inclusive) with your own stamp to make this venue truly unique.
Qualifications
- Proven track record as a General Manager (or senior leadership role in a high-volume bar, nightclub or premium venue).
- Deep understanding of cocktail culture, bartending, mixology trends, and late-night bar operations.
- Strong commercial acumen – P&L, forecasting, cost controls, margins.
- A visionary – unafraid to experiment, to make nights feel distinct and magnetic.
- Excellent leadership, team building, coaching, mentoring skills.
- Ability to handle pressure, solve problems fast, make decisions with confidence.
- Passion for people, hospitality, and creating unforgettable magic moments.
- Compliance-savvy (licensing, health & security, risk, legal).
- Strong communication skills.

Salary: £48-52k per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
