We're looking for a General Manager for a beautiful rural pub & hotel in Swarkestone. Salary up to £46,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package. Marston's is one of the UK's largest and most beloved pub chains and today, we operate more than 1,300 pubs, bars and hotels.

About the pub: The Crewe & Harpur is a beautiful 17th century coach house, comprising of a popular pub & restaurant, as well as 7 boutique bedrooms, located between Swarkestone & Melbourne, Derbyshire. The pub is a destination venue and forms part of Marston's 'Signature' collection, with a more premium food offering and styling. Its location on the riverside with a large garden means that it is particularly popular during summer. Currently the pub is achieving weekly sales of around £28,000 which is food‑led at 65% (10% rooms, 25% wet trade) with further scope to increase sales through driving garden activity during the summer season, as well as maximising on the local village trade. There is a full senior team in place including an Assistant Manager, Head Chef and Supervisors and has been ran consistently by a General Manager who is moving internally with us. There is 3 bedroom accommodation available onsite, as well as another small one‑bedroom separate accommodation.
